Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Brazilian Wax.

Most clients enjoy smooth, hair-free skin for three to six weeks. Duration varies by individual hair growth cycles, hormones, and aftercare. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and extend time between appointments.

Some discomfort is normal, but our experienced estheticians prioritize comfort using high-quality wax, precise technique, and calming measures. We recommend trimming before your visit, breathing techniques, and topical numbing if needed to minimize pain during the session.

Clean, exfoliated skin promotes better waxing results. Avoid heavy lotions, sunburn, and tanning at least 24 to 48 hours before. Trim hair to about quarter-inch if needed, and arrive relaxed. Follow our pre-wax instructions provided at booking for best outcome.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, intense workouts, and tight clothing for 24 to 48 hours. Use gentle, fragrance-free cleansers and light moisturizers. Exfoliate gently after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and follow any personalized care advice from your technician.

Many pregnant and breastfeeding clients safely receive Brazilian waxes, though sensitivity may increase. Tell us about your pregnancy stage and any complications. We can adjust technique and timing and recommend alternatives or patch tests if needed for comfort and safety.

Prevent ingrowns by gentle exfoliation starting 48 hours after waxing, moisturizing with non-comedogenic products, and avoiding tight clothing. Consider regular waxing appointments and professional exfoliating treatments. If persistent, we can recommend targeted products or in-clinic solutions to treat ingrown hairs.
