I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Rejina at Perfect Eyebrows! I get so many compliments on my eyebrows since she fixed them for me! I had threading and 1 microblading session done (so far). I will never go to anyone else for my eyebrows now that I’ve found her!

I think my brows were probably more challenging than most of her clients’, but she worked wonders. I have very pale, sensitive skin and dark brown hair. My eyebrows used to grow in really thick naturally, but I had a couple of bad waxing experiences last year that caused me to have scarring and bald spots in my eyebrows that never grew back. My eyebrows aren’t naturally symmetrical either as far as the direction the hairs grow, positioning of hair folicals, or thickness of the individual hairs go - which makes shaping them to look even extra difficult.

During my consultation with Rejina I explained that I really wanted my eyebrows to look natural and that I was nervous about trying microblading because of my sensitive skin and because I had seen microblading on friends that looked good but a little heavy-handed like they had filled them with a pencil and I knew that wouldn’t look good on me because I almost never wear makeup. She was extremely knowledgeable, honest about the process and expected results, and answered all my questions really taking the time to listen to what I wanted and to choose a color that matched my natural hair color, and etc.

I instantly loved the way Rejina was able to carefully and skillfully transform my patchy crooked brows into symmetrical fleek brows with her combo of threading and microblading. But I was a little nervous at first because I felt my eyebrows looked noticeably darker and a little too solid for the first two weeks. Rejina warned me of this though and promised they would lighten in a few weeks (they totally did). Now it’s really hard to tell the tattoo strokes from the actual brow hairs unless you are really up close and know what to look for.

Rejina gives instructions for after care and if you don’t follow them closely, your microblading won’t heal right and will be patchy, etc. Be warned - you can’t get your eyebrows wet for 2 weeks (!!) after you get them bladed so the color sets properly and so you don’t accidentally scrub scabs off prematurely. I’m not sure if other places tell you to wait that long, but I listened and my brows are almost perfect after just 1 session!! Other things I did for aftercare was to use the ointment she gave me 1-2x per day for the two weeks to help stop the itching from dry skin, but she recommends trying not to use the ointment that much and try “dry healing” for better results if you can stand it (I couldn’t). I also used one of those cold gel eye masks the first two nights so I didn’t get any swelling, and I wore a big hat and big sunglasses when I was out in the sun as well.

I’m going to go for the recommended touchup session for a couple small areas that are a little thinner/lighter on one brow where the color didn’t take, but I am honestly so happy with how much better they look after just 1 session that I probably wouldn’t have even bothered scheduling the touchup session if I hadn’t prepaid for it.

The only complaint I have is that it was a little hard to find her office my first time there because the address is listed as Allston and Boston and she is located in a office building without poor signage, so I recommend you give yourself a little extra time to find it before your first appointment....more
